2013 Competitive Retailer Workshop

CenterPoint Energy will hold its 2013 Competitive Retailer Workshop at the Sugar Land Marriot Town Square on May 1. 2013 starting at 10am. Lunch will be provided. We will then all head over to Constellation Field to enjoy a Sugar Land Skeeters baseball game along with dinner and ice cold beverages.

  • Our scheduled Keynote speaker is Gregg Knight, CenterPoint Energy’s  Division VP of Customer Services, who will present CenterPoint Energy’s  vision for customer engagement, including the Customer Vision Platform and Outage Notification System.  The Outage Notification System is made possible by our Advanced Metering System, and will provide customers with timely power outage and restoration information.
  • We will also present an in-depth look at CenterPoint Energy’s Emergency OperationsPlan, describing how CenterPoint Energy prepares for hurricane season and      responds to hurricanes.  This presentation will cover the physical restoration of the electric delivery system as well as business processes,including retail market operations.
